CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

FrauenLoop is a community-focused non-profit that was founded to empower the individuals whom tech affects the most. We believe that tech can and should improve the lives of everyone, so our community is diverse in age, ethnic and racial origin, social, religious and educational background, LGBTQ+ identity and resident/immigrant/refugee status.

As such, we give careful consideration to the tech companies we choose to partner with. Our surveys and studies of the experiences of women working in the tech sector in Berlin provide the starting point for our endorsement. Based on these and other measures of transparency & inclusiveness, we work with tech talent and tech companies to partner with EU companies that actively invest in attracting and retaining diverse tech talent.

Our partners are committed to investing in people at different levels of technical experience. We strongly believe that investment in teams with broad diversity pays off in a myriad of ways such as:

  • more team-focused senior talent

  • a larger, more robust applicant pool

  • better long-term retention rates

We are eager to engage with technology and charitable partners in Europe and beyond on tangible ways to empower women from under-represented and underserved communities to engage in technical roles within the tech industry.
